I am a student, writer, and researcher from Srinagar, Kashmir, interested in philosophy, technology, ethics, and public life.
When I was 8, I began writing. And I published my first poetry collection at the age of twelve. Since then, my work has gradually moved across poetry, philosophy, film, media, and research, often circling questions about memory, identity, and the ways technology reshapes human experience.
My current interests include political philosophy, AI ethics, cultural thought, and the relationship between technology and moral life. I am particularly interested in how these questions appear from places that are often absent from global intellectual conversations.
Alongside writing and research, I have worked on various projects, including student leadership, social initiatives, filmmaking, digital media, and community-based projects. I currently contribute philosophy and cultural commentary to Greater Kashmir and continue to develop independent research at the intersection of philosophy and emerging technology.

Social Initiative Head, Student Council 2025

After winning the Student Council elections for 2025, I served as Social Initiative Head, leading a team of five. Our primary goal was to bridge the gap between students and the council. We assembled around 250 donation kits for Mayday Celebrations and campaigned for causes including environmental awareness, road safety, and substance abuse prevention all year long.
The most valuable lesson I took away was the importance of clarity. For a team to function well, every member must be aligned. I often had to rework my plans to make them clear, understandable, and easy to act on when dividing work.
Head of Technology, DPSMUN 2025 2025
Inter-school Model UN Conference (core founding member)
As one of the core members who re-initiated DPSMUN 2025, I served as Head of Technology, handling everything from the registration system to communication tools. Despite just ten days of promotion, we surpassed our target of 170 registrations, reaching over 200 delegates.
My most significant contribution was introducing the AI Advisory Board, a first-of-its-kind committee dedicated to AI ethics discourse, bringing conversations around artificial intelligence and its implications into a Model UN setting. DPSMUN 2025 was a rewarding experience that showed me how far you can go when you genuinely aim for more.
Video Editing Team Lead, CyberCrew (IT Club, DPS Srinagar) 2024 - 2025
Led Video Editing Team during TechKnow (annual tech event)
Served as Head of the Video Editing Workshop during the annual TechKnow event at Delhi Public School Srinagar in both 2024 and 2025. Mentored and trained over 30 students each year in video editing, visual storytelling, and digital media production. In 2025, I was also one of the three core organisers of TechKnow, helping coordinate a large-scale interschool technology event attended by more than 200 participants from across the Kashmir Valley. The event was attended by the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir as the chief guest, requiring careful coordination of logistics, technical management, and programme execution to ensure the event ran smoothly at a high-profile level.
